3-D drawing for everyone. SketchUp is used by professional architects, engineers, designers, builders, and makers all over the world, yet it is simple enough that it can be used by students who are brand new to 3D modelling. SketchUp is free for educational use.


WatchKnowLearn: Free educational videos. Organized.

WatchKnowLearn has indexed over 50,000 educational videos for children ages 1 - 18. You can search by subject or age level.


What to Read - Teens

A collection of recommended reads for teenagers compiled by the Vancouver Island Regional Library. This collection includes novels, web comics, graphic novels, and texts of all varieties.



This site has a great collection of games and activities for preschool and primary aged children, featuring kids favourite characters from PBS shows like Sesame Street, Calliou, and Curious George.

LearnNowBC offers a variety of learning resources designed for students in B.C. Check out the Young Learning Centre for activities for young children, access learning resources for specific courses, or access live tutoring and practice exams.
